Trinket Choices.

I'm diving back into making my weekly blocks for the Trinket SAL. It's nice that they have built in a few weeks off into the schedule. I'm still not used to the changed situation with the afternoon sunlight in my workroom due to the loss of the redwoods. Very dramatic looking though isn't it?

 The thing with these colors, they're all so Very Very saturated, even the lighter ones. That's okay with me, just noticing though. I've seen some of the other SAL people's blocks done in more muted, varied or even grayscale and it's such a different look to the blocks. I like what I'm doing so far. My hope is that they're going to look like jewels against that dark purple I'm using as the background. I think I'll cut up some squares and put them up on the design wall to see if I'm right.
