Churns Dashed

 

I've finished off the four 6.5" Churn Dash donation blocks, and they're very fun and scrappy.

Here's Ye olde butter churn, the cross shaped end of the tool inspires the block's design. Dash refers to the handle of the tool itself. I liked finding out about the connection of the block to how butter was made back in the 1840's.
