I’m visiting with my folks today and mom mentioned that her sewing machine wasn’t working. Had to dig out the user manual. This late 60’s terrifying manual cover is Too Much. And once I finally reacquainted myself with the threading of this beast I realized it really needed oiling. It was definitely hard to turn the manual handle. After a while searching through the drawers I couldn’t find any oil at all. That’s probably part of the issue! Next time I’ll be bringing my tube of oil over.
