A little (2x2") quilted thingie, let's call it a quiltlet, I recently made for a friend who is going through some hard times. I hope she finds it useful.
And because they are almost the same colors, here are some closeups of Valentine's Day roses.
Hi Julie, I love your little quilted thingie. I'm sure your friend will love it. I like to make these sorts of things too, just to have a little piece to work on that is easy to carry around, stitch on as I watch TV or something. Also love your post about dinner. It has made me very hungry, I better go get some lunch. We are ready to start picking some nettles now, they are up and ready to be eaten (after cooking of course;-) Finally, I have always loved these bullseye quilts you and your friends have made. We recently made one in my group as a housewarming gift for a friend. They can be so easy to make when you leave them raw edged. Nice to see you again. Come on over and check out my new blog if you feel like it. www.laughingdogarts.blogspot.com

I like the quiltlet. I should be inspired to make some for my friends. With your raw edge, it has a warm informality about it.
