Re-making The Essentials

Sixth in the year-long series of weekly six-word memoir quiltlets.
The six words for the sixth week were: Re-making the essentials over and over.

This uses the button placket from a shirt my aunt gave me, it was mixed in with other ethnic fabrics she's collected on her travels around the world. Two of those fabrics are also in here, along with an upholstery scrap and a random blue hand-dye.

These are so cool have this ability to easily (or it appears to be easy!) put together pieces that are just right.
Love the colors and use of the button placket.

My first glance at this one gave me the impression of an iPod carrier! Great color scheme!
