Here is the eighth in the year-long series of
six-word memoir journal quilts that I am making week by week. This is made entirely of the labels that one of my teenagers has been cutting off of his clothes and leaving on my ironing board. I had quite a colorful collection and I wanted to do something with them besides just throw them away.

I feel some mom-pride that he has really learned the lesson that the six words convey:
Labels Do Not Tell My Story.

Julie I love this...it would be great as a large work also.
I love this idea as well. The labels are often gorgeous and I am glad you were able to make art with them.
