puffy skin
bad skin
over-reactive skin
uncooperative skin
the skin I'm in
when they say the flesh is weak, I may just be what they're talking about.
no resistance to injury
bruising at a glance
containing my insides, just barely
infested with pain
enduring surgeries with no end in sight
elastic fantastic stretchy and mine
not yours or hers or his, all mine
if the body is my temple,
my skin is the wall presented to the world
