Wandering Wednesday - Fort Mason

A couple weeks ago, we went to San Francisco, to pick up the runner's bib for my DH to participate in the 5K segment of the SF Marathon. Fort Mason is always so interesting, a lot of creative re-use of a military supply base happening.
I really love this color of the bay in this picture.
This is looking out over Gashouse Cove and one of the yacht marinas towards the Golden Gate Bridge.
I like this view towards to the bay between two of the buildings. We visited FLAX arts and one of the many small museums.
We had lunch at a restaurant I'd always wanted to try out, Greens. It's a vegetarian place with amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco Bay. I had the Summer Squash Pupusas, that came with pickled beets and avocado. So beautiful, and very very tasty.

I tried to get a photo that included the bridge but the windowpanes defeated me almost exactly. Oh well, it wasn't that great of a shot because of the sort of gloomy afternoon.
We talked ourselves into getting dessert, which was amazing, and not to be missed. This was a blueberry, lavender mousse, with a shortbread-y type of crust.
DH was very happy to get his swag bag for participating in the SF Marathon.
