Double Palooza Day

 

I cut out the pieces for two more Patchwork Palooza blocks yesterday, so they were awaiting me to work on today.

I really like the dreamy look of this one. 

I'm enjoying using the dowloaded .pdf file on my iPad instead of printing it out. There were some print errors in this one, which I have to see if they've corrected.

I didn't have quite enough of the green/blue with white seeds, so I substituted the more blue tv print. I think it works. Using a center square that has a built-in wonkiness due to the fabric was interesting, I kept thinking it was wrong, but it was just the color and pattern fooling my eye. Here it works once all the seam allowances are taken out.

So far all three blocks have had blues, oranges and greens. But the whole quilt isn't meant to be matchy-matchy, so I'll mix it up in the next ones.
