Improv Blocks

Time for the block of the every other month, this time it's an improv block in a color palette called Emerald City. The background of the blocks are a medium gray, with one corner cut off in random and hopefully varied enough angles.
Strips were cut in the colors in sizes from .75" to 1.5".  I found a huge blank spot in my greens collection for this true green color.
One strip is sewn on to each background.

Trimmed off the strip in line with the background square.

 Much better.

Third strip added.
And then the fourth strip.
Here's how they look together.  I think I'm supposed to trim them down to a certain size.

Is six enough to give me a good chance to win the block lottery? I have some leftover strips, so maybe I'll make a few more before the meeting next week.  I do like these colors together quite a lot now that I've used them in making these blocks.
