These are beautiful! I love artichokes...both as a *flower* but especially just to EAT! Little ones pickles, small pieces on pizza and with chicken dishes, full grown, steam and dipped in butter....oh....good lord. I have to go find some food now! Lovely---you are so lucky to have the climate!
Yes I forgot to cook the artichokes I harvested. But they look pretty in a vase.

I grow them just for the dried flowers. I keep a bouquet on the mantel all year...they last until the new ones bloom in the garden!
