And Still Counting has come up with a great idea for an quilt exhibit about the Iraq war. Go check it out and join in if you are so inclined. It will involve small quilts (6" ) representing US dead, with french knots representing Iraqi dead.
She was inspired by a recent display at
Reed College that had little flags representing Iraqis and US deaths. One group is red, one is white. It is quite a stark sight this image, especially the long shots, where all you can see is a lawn full of white. Guess which group is which color?
